About Tara

Discovering yoga in 2013, Tara is known for her high standard in teaching and a deep commitment to inquiry, exploration, and evolution of the Yogic path alongside her students.

More interested in teaching students how to feel their body rather than mastering the perfect yoga posture, Tara’s teaching supports a collaborative co-creation in guiding students to refine their own inner referencing system and invites movement in a way that feels right for the student.

With allegiance to no particular style and not one to adhere blindly to Guru’s, rules, or dogma, Tara’s teaching places priority on the sensitivity of practice.  Tara’s classes can be a unique blend of traditional yoga, chant and breathwork, yoga therapy, modern somatic exploration, neuroscience and developmental movement, and meditative inquiry.  Tara approaches all styles of yoga and movement with a sense of curiosity and exploration, encouraging in students a willingness and an interest to ask, “why?”

Serious about yoga, but not taking herself too seriously, Tara invites students to practice radical self-acceptance on and off the mat, and enjoy what unfolds from there.
